Tay Kay Luan is the Executive Director of Australian New Zealand Institute with direct responsibility to create opportunities and access for emerging markets to quality financial education and training.
He was the Chief Executive of Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers during 2010-16, where he led and implemented series of changes which transformed the institute to a more complete professional body for bankers and the establishment of the Asian Banking School. Amongst the milestones, he was responsible towards the close partnership with Chartered Banker Institute based in Edinburgh Scotland. He drafted the ‘Transformation Blueprint of the Malaysian Banking Education Landscape’.
Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions in ACCA, Hay Group and Andersen Consulting. Behind his illustrious career, he has had the opportunity to work with diverse business and social communities in education, management development and training. He is most familiar with the developments and delivery of learning application and professional standards.
